Museo della Strumentazione e Informazione Cristallografica
Located in the Institute of Crystallography (CNR, Rome), the Museum traces the extraordinary scientific adventure of Crystallography in three sections. In particular, the Instrumentation section shows original instruments and apparatuses, such as: automatic diffractometers for powders and single crystal; Weissenberg, Buerger, Guinier - de Wolff goniometers; Straumanis, Arndt - Wonnacott, Debye - Scherrer, Gandolfi, etc diffraction chambers; optical microscopes and goniometers, microdensitometers, goniocomparators, cryostats, spectrometers, X-ray components, and more.
