Gregori Aminoff Prize in Crystallography 2026 to Professor David Eisenberg

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences decided to award the Gregori Aminoff Prize in Crystallography 2026 to Professor David Eisenberg, University of California in Los Angeles, USA. He received the Prize for pioneering the study of amyloid proteins’ molecular structure, providing new knowledge about neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s. This may benefit the development of new pharmaceuticals.
