The 34th European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM 34) will be held at the new Congress Center in Padova – Italy, from 26th to 30th of August, 2024. Padova is one of the most charming towns in Italy and hosts a lively University that is among the oldest in Europe (it has celebrated its 800th anniversary from the foundation in 2022). Visiting Padova means a full immersion in arts, history and culture!
The ECM congress is the flagship of ECA activities and it is the main meeting point for crystallographers in the ECA area to show their recent research. The 2024 ECM edition will follow the IUCr2023 Congress in Melbourne, and the synergy with EPDIC18 that will follow ECM in the same location (August 30th – September 2nd, Padova, www.epdic18.org) offers a special opportunity of interaction between the diverse crystallographic communities.
The ECM program of scientific presentations, meetings and events, as well as the extensive industrial exhibition will be extremely exciting. The meeting will include 3 plenary lectures, 14 keynotes, 42 micro-symposia, covering the whole range of crystallographic issues.
