The Commission on Instrumentation and Computing organizes a one-day-meeting to provide up-to-date information on how accessing Large Facilities. It will be the first of a series of events, this time dedicated to synchrotron and neutron facilities.
The AIC Information Day will be an informal meeting, consisting of a brief theoretical introduction to synchrotron radiation and neutron facilities followed by the description of a few SLS and SINQ beamlines relevant to crystallographic studies.
The Information Day ends, then, with the visit of the SLS, SINQ and four beamlines.
It will be held at the Paul Sherrer Institut in Villigen (Switzerland) on October 19th 2009.
