Crystal Forms @ Bo 2017 REGISTRATION now open

Dear Colleague

This is Dario Braga writing to announce that the registration to the IX Bologna's Convention on Crystal Forms CF@Bo 2017 is now open at the link HERE

http://www.polycrystalline.it/pages/149/highlights/9th-crystal-formsbo-convention.html

In keeping with the "intercultural" paradigm of our convention, lectures from industry and from academia are interspersed in the programme.
During the three days meeting, 30 speakers coming from 15 different countries and operating in both private and university research labs will discuss and compare experience in the preparation, characterization, utilization of crystalline materials and in crystallization by design. Issues related to intellectual property protection will also be addressed. Please note the special session on IP issues on the last day.

The programme is dense but it does provide time for informal discussions over breaks and during the poster session on Monday 5th. A great opportunity for students and young researchers from both environments.
An abstract (max 1 A4) page is required by the end of April. Please send it directly to cfbo@polycrystalline.it

The opening and first session will be held, on Sunday 4th at the Chemistry Department G. Ciamician.

The meeting will continue at the Zanhotel Europa.

Do not forget to book your accommodation. If you are willing to reside at the meeting site refer to meetinghoteleuropa@zanhotel.it for e-mail reservations. Please remember to indicate that you are a participant in the convention in order to get the reduced-rate hotel rooms.

I remind you that Bologna is the site of the oldest University in the western world and a beautiful place to visit in June. Also Bologna in connected to all major cities in Europe by low fare companies and by high speed trains with Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome.

Finally, do please help us in circulating the information about the meeting through your contacts.

Thank you for your cooperation

Dario Braga
p.s. I apologize in advance in case of multiple messages
